Captive Prince contains a fair amount of uncomfortable or triggering subject matter, including child abuse, slavery, physical abuse, sexual assault, issues of consent, violence, and murder. Damen is a soldier and a King, and he was enslaved for a time, and subject to things against his will. His lover is the victim of child abuse.

The darker subjects of Captive Prince are not likely to come up in conversation - the worse stuff, Damen will not talk about to anyone, and I will use it in narrative sparingly to not at all. The things likely to come up with him are slavery (and the ending thereof), and murder / war.

However, I understand some would rather not thread with Damen at all. If you would prefer I not tag you, please let me know! This post is screened, just leave me a list of your journals here. If you want to thread with Damen, but want me to be extra careful not to bring up anything triggering or uncomfortable, that's fine too, just specify that in your post.
